i pretty much second everything the first person said. i don't know if chris will be happy to hear from you or not, but i do know that if you're anything like me, you'd totally regret not at least trying to find out. the curiosity and sheer unfinishedness of it would kill you.
finding someone to live with is complicated...i think the trick is to recognise early on whether or not it's going to work, so that if it's looking like potential disaster, you can start looking for an escape route before the friendship is ruined.
as far as graduating, i don't think you're really in danger of not graduating, as long as you stop with the procrastination and finish your stuff. on the other hand i TOTALLY know about procrastination; i've screwed myself over that way many many times. but knowing that it's a problem for you is half the battle, so i'm sure you can overcome it.
