I don't suppose anyone knows, offhand perhaps, how to do standard predictor and criterion variables in the context of Correlation and Regression, do they?

That last post about the raw score prediction model for regression? I figured it out all on my own. Kinda makes me giggle that even the tutor had no idea what to do. So once I figured it out, I emailed a copy of the formula to her.

So, I finished my homework and got it in on time. Which means the agenda for this evening includes: more Firefly (I only have a disc left) rewatching, hopefully getting some work done on L2bL because I'm about to get death threats if I don't update soon, reading for class tomorrow morning, picking up and doing dishes, making dinner, and reading tabaqui's new stuff.

Speaking of fic - I've been out of the loop for so long, I don't know what's out there anymore. Any recs? I'm open to slash from Firefly, Ats, BtVS (hopefully S/X), and what the hell - rec me something new from a fandom I'm not familiar with.

Just got a job offer with a different catering company.

They want me to be a trainer. My "interview" is on Friday, and they want me to start work the following Tuesday. It's a $2 pay increase and I get my pick of days to work - I have top priority, because apparently half of their clients I've worked parties for before, and *they* want me.

Can we say...
