Just thougt I'd post because - I'm looking at appartments, via Rent.com, for me and Vive. I found this one place that is absolutely gorgeous. It's in our price range and has everything we need/want. Just fabulous.

That's almost as amusing as the apartment I looked at on Dawn street and the one on Willow Bullevard. If only they had a Xander Lane. Or Spike Street. Mmm...

In other news, I just spent too much money buying stuff at the bookstore - everything's 50% off because Efollett is going away. Far. Far. Away. So, yay and blah. But, I kinda felt like I *should* own some sort of DePaul stuff. *shrugs* Ah, well. C'est la vie.

Did you know that hobbits are, or more properly, were real? I totally didn't know this!

A sub-category of us, the homo florensiensis, lived on an island in Indonesia about 13,000 years ago. Not suprisingly, though, this island is a major producer of fossils of Dwarf Elephants and giant lizards. This suggests that "island dwarfing" also occurs within aspects of humans. It's believed these forensiensis, or "hobbits" as the finders call them, are derived from genus homos, just as we are. They apparently became marrooned there, perhaps after Indonesia broke away from Asia, and generation after generation, the people just got shorter. The fossil remains found are only about a metre tall!

Holy crud, it's freaking ice outside. It's right now 0 degrees. As in, lack of warmth. As in, the twins have disapeared. Kudos to anyone who can tell me where that reference is from.

In other news this evening, I am screwed. And, you know, not in a good way. Why oh why don't I do anything on the weekends and then get upset when I have SO MUCH to do on Monday? I? Am a little slow. And since I know how I am, at 8:00 I'm going to the Full Moon and get me some coffee and do my work. Gah. Someone shoot me, eh? Pwease?

Okay, I'm off to the library for some pre-moon downtime. Guh.

Darn

Well, the moon was a bust. Turns out almost all my homework is typing stuff, and I didn't take the laptop. The one assignment for research methods that I could do longhand turned out to be too hard for me do. So, I'm back. *sigh* Still have another 200 pages of reading to do and at least another hour of contemplating that damn thing. Grr.

Gah!

I've spent the last two hours filling out paperwork for my counseling theories class. It's all situational role-playing, like "what would you do if your client admitted to a sexual attraction to you?" stuff. Bah! 5 pages I typed!

I haven't even started reading yet. *wibble*
