Ah it's great to be back! I love my new room in Merrill. I really like this hall. Wish I could have lived here last year *grumble*. Anyhoo, figured I'd become one with the updates. Gonna start work in about an hour. Yay. Got my mailbox key already this morning and I'm eating yogurt. Yum. Don't really have a whole lot to say...
Oh, yesterday I went down to the city. Vive and Grace really *do* live in Boystown. It's crazy...I can see I'm going to be spending a *lot* of time there on the weekends. heh. Only thing that sucks is that they're three blocks away from Wrigley Field. So if there's a game, I'm not going anywhere near their appartment because yesterday was f-ing crazy! And parking was non-existant. Eh well, city living. Can't wait to do it myself :D.
So we went out to Lena's for lunch - gooood food. Then headed over to Lincoln Park to map out our classes and get our books. Can we say askeered? Yeees, yees we can. That place is friggen intimidating. All those people and all those buildings. Yikes! S'okay though. I think I'll be able to handle it ;) Heh. In line at the bookstore some guy came up and complimented my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle t-shirt. He was cute, and wearing a Hot Wheels shirt. So we talked for a few minues. heh. I was there for a half hour and made a new friend. Well not really but I think that's a good omen. So no classes today - they start tomorrow. And tomorrow I have Forensic Chemistry and World Religions *shudders* and work and then Thursday I have Social Psych down at the LPC. Yay...things are rolling along. So for now I'm going to sit and eat my yogurt (yum!) and drink my tea (mmmm) and catch up on REPO and Little Runaway (joygasm). So y'all have a nice day!
