Gah!

I was just mosieing around DePaul's website, and decided to check Blackboard to see if my classes are up yet for the fall. One of them was. And now I wish I hadn't checked, because I *already* want to die, just looking at the syllabus. *bangs head against cinderblock wall*

*ehem* A short discription of the crap for this class. Keep in mind it is a religion class. Also remember it is a 200! level religion class...

20% of final grade comes from:
*perfect* attendance. Any unexcused absenses and you lose 1%
class discussion
a one-page paper written at the end of each class

20% of final grade:
Weekly 2-page blackboard posting

20% of final grade:
midterm *growls* This fucking pisses me off. Quarter classes should *NOT BE ALLOWED* to have midterms! That's so fucking stupid. It's only a month before the final! WTF?

20% of final grade:
8 page take-home final

20% of final grade:
8 page research paper due a week before the final. Complete with Outline. This is almost a given, the paper, but that outline shit can go to hell. I DON'T USE OUTLINES!!!

So I can see that this proffessor is absolutely fucking batshit crazy. Let's see...where's that nice little "Drop Class" button again?

OMFG! I would drop. That's heavy shit for a 200 level course. Especially when you guys are on quarters instead of semesters! PROTEST! *holds up sign*

Can't you just write the paper before the outline? Or is the outline due earlier? This is an El Pee Cee class, I assume.

HOLY FUCKING GOD! That is so far past insane it's gone past it, around it, and hit it again!

See, another reason to hate DePaul. If not for them, you wouldn't need one religion class, let alone two.

If you can't find the button, you could always make one of your first duties on campus be a trip to the college office.
